Blogging Tips and Guidelines:
Every time you add a new post, people from around the world can “see” what you have written! In order to make sure your posts are safe, respectable, and grammatically appropriate please follow the following guidelines:
Safety:- Don’t use your last name when writing a blog.
- Don’t give out ANY information about yourself, phone number, address, etc.
- Don’t be specific with your information. For example, say, “I like to play soccer,” not “I play soccer for the Webster Pirates.”
- Do not post pictures of anyone without their permission.
- Be considerate of others and their individual thoughts, don’t judge.
- When writing comments, don’t just say, “That’s great!” Take the time to read others thoughts and respond with a well written comment, such as, “I agree with you, I think we should be able to access the computer more.”
- Do not write comments that might be considered offensive by others. (Remember, your writings can be viewed by anyone in the world!!!)
- Use correct grammar and spelling.
- Use of abbreviations and shortcuts is not appropriate for a blog, save that for texting!
- Present yourself in a manner that will bring you and your family pride for what you’ve written.

for me blogging is pretty easy because im used to the idea of writing what ever is on my mind. i think blogging is a great idea for everybody because your writing random things like how your day went or how your summer is going ect. i believe that blogging has its good and its bad momments depends on what your writing about. for me blogging helped out a lot because im used to the fact of letting anything out by writing about it. the thing is i gotta work on my spelling.
ReplyDeleteHello :) blogging is a very interesting thing. Why?..because you can read others opinion. By readinig others opinion you understand that everyone think different. If I do a blog would be about where the people go to have fun and why..Also it would be more about the weekends :) I would like to answer blogs that ask me for my opinion about life situations.
ReplyDeleteFor me, blogging is very interesting because you get to learn a lot of stuff, like interesting facts. I like blogging because I like to share my opinion with others and this will help us to communicate and know people that even though are in our same group, class or school, we do not know very well. I have to agree with Celimar, I would like to answer blogs about social issues.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest i don't not muco about blogging. Until i had seen is very intresting and very intriginig. It let s you how that person feels or what they do around world if they travel.This in some way helps you interact with other people. I will like to have a blogging site of traveling and to write what in my mind. I really like to talk about different things i really don't a especific topic i would like to talk about.In a way this could us communicate more between each other. The most that exite me about blogging is to see the opinion about other person and how can i learn from them.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know anything about blogging because i have never seen a blog before or blogged on anything at all.I feel that having a class blog will maybe show me how to blog, to help me answer the question of what is a blog, and hopefully help me in my writing on the computer. I hope that this blogging thing will be a fun experience for the whole class.

I think having a blog about our class will be fun, because we can all share our opinions about what has been post and other classes can see our opinions. If I make a blog, it would be about nature photography. I think taking photos to nature is very interesting. I hope that this blog will be very interesting and fun.

This idea is so awesome because I have the opportunity to share my opinions with all of my class mates and more people. If I were to do a blog this blog would be about fashion and volleyball. And yes this have a effect in what I write because this remind me that I have to think what I am going to say.:)
ReplyDeleteHey! I like to read blogs, but I don't like to do blogs, because I like personal space and I only share my personal things with my friends. I like to read blogs because sometimes I want to look for information about one specific theme and with blogs I can get an idea about them. I wish I could have the ability to create a blog cause it seems a very interesting thing to do.

I think the idea of blogging is great because you can see the different opinions of people based on one specific topic. Also, having a class blog is fun because it's a way to keep in touch with our classmates.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to have a Blog, mine would be about food recipes. I love food and me and my mom are always trying new things to cook. with a blog we can share our recipes and use other people's recipes as well.!

ReplyDeleteWell I'm not really an avid blogger but I believe the idea is cool. The fact you can share stories and ideals with people over the internet in places you'd never visisted is interesting. I know that as long as you think about what you say, blogging can be a good experience that we could learn things from. I like the fact that this is an experience we can have with our friends and I do not know what I would blog about but as long as it is funny, it will hold my attention.

I can be creative while writing on a blog.I can write about art, photography, fashion, and about places were I've traveled, which is what I like the most.
